OUR CHURCH
At St. George Church of God, our doors are open to all persons regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is our welcoming community, a sense of family. We believe that our strength comes from the Lord and through the people He has placed in our lives. Our mission is to know God intimately by growing together. Our picture of the future is a community of persons united in love. Striving to serve one another as Christ served us.
OUR PASTOR
Pastor Norman Garrett and his wife Kristen have a heart for people and a desire to see souls saved, bodies healed, and lives forever changed. They truly are servants of the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Pastor Norman attended Trident Technical College for Architectural Engineering in which he graduated with a full scholarship. He went on to graduate from Neilson Electronics Institution with a 4.0 GPA, Summa Cum Laude. With his degree in Electronics and Communications, he worked full time and raised his children, while tirelessly working in Church of God ministries for over 20 years. In November 2016, he became Lead Pastor of St. George Church of God in St. George, South Carolina, with his wife, Kristen, a licensed minister herself, leading alongside him.
OUR GOAL
It is our goal that every individual feels loved and welcomed as part of the family of God. Whether you are single or married, young or old, each person has a purpose in life and our goal is to help you discover that plan and follow God's will. At St. George Church of God, you will experience love and support through our friendly people who love the Lord and have committed their lives to serving Him. We are also committed to serving you and we welcome you into our family!
OUR BELIEF
The Church of God believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The Church of God has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.
